Eilís (pronounced ael-ish) is a rising singer-songwriter hailing from County Derry in Northern Ireland. Carving her own sonic lane, she draws inspiration from a range of sources including human experiences, mental health, soundscapes, and films. Eilís aims to connect with people through music and share her experiences with them.


Eilís is heavily influenced by artists such as Gabrielle Aplin, Maggie Rodgers, Lizzy McAlpine, and Sleeping at Last, whose sounds are reflected in her unique style of folk-tinged, alternative pop. Her talent has been widely recognized, with her music receiving critical acclaim from Hotpress, Chordblossom, and The Unsigned Guide.


Her single "Thank You" was crowned's single of the week, and she has received airplay across the UK and Ireland, including on BBC Radio Ulster and Cool FM. Eilís has showcased her talents at several prestigious music festivals, including Sunflowerfest, Glasgowbury, and the Belfast Nashville Songwriters Festival, and has opened up for a variety of established acts.


In 2018, Eilís came runner-up in the UK-wide 'EON One Take' songwriting competition, and she was a finalist for the 'Panart's Young Singer-Songwriter of the Year’ award in 2019. Eilís went on to win Forestside's 'Young Singer-Songwriter' competition.


Eilís' soulful and powerful voice has captivated audiences and critics alike. According to Aaron Cunningham of Chordblossom, "her voice is primed to sweep up an emotional listener." Stef Loukes of The Unsigned Guide notes that "the track acts as the perfect vehicle to underscore Eilís' talent, both as a songwriter and as a performer." Despite her youth, Eilís' voice carries a wisdom and conviction that sets her apart from other emerging artists. Eilís is currently working on her debut EP and is poised to make a significant impact in the music industry.
